LIAISON OFFICE FOR NON – GREEK CITIZENS OF PAROS
It is well known that a substantial number of non-Greek citizens have established themselves on the island and live either in privately owned or rented houses. Most of them are citizens of the European Union.
In an effort to establish a better and systematic contact with these foreigners and to help them efficiently with the different problems they might face during their stay on the island the Municipal Authority has decided to open a liaison- office. It will be situated in the KENTRO EXSIPIRETISIS POLITON (KEP) of the Municipality in the port of Paroikia.
The person in charge will be Mrs Brigitte Karavias, she speaks Greek, German, English, French and Italian and will be present every Friday from 10 am – 2 pm. This service will be offered on a voluntary basis. This liaison-office will run a pilot project for this summer period and start on Friday, 22 of June till Friday 28 of September 2007.
